Raising money for charity is very much part of the DNA of Cafe Indulgence, because it is fundamental to its role as a local community hub.

Since 2013 Carol, her team, and customers have raised over £13,000 for charity. The Cafe has used a variety of methods, including,

• Raffles to which customers have donated gifts.
• Margaret, one of their customers, knits Easter Chicks filled with chocolate eggs, which the cafe sells for charity
• Sponsored Walks
• Sponsored Runs
• Selling cup cakes baked by the girls in the kitchen.
• A Boxing Day dip that was generously sponsored by many local customers.

The charities supported by the cafe have included:-

• St. David’s Hospice
• Breast Test Wales
• The Lifeboat
• Air Ambulance
• Happy Faces
• Ty Gobaith
• Dementia Wales
• Disability Football Team”
